My name is Joseluis, currently enrolled in college, and trying to figure out what to do with life. I’m kind, sarcastic, caring, and have a very dry sense of humor. Did I also mention that I grew up with a terminal illness and now live with someone else’s heart inside me?!

Letters to Homura is an idea that sparked from me wanting to share my story. I grew up in the Special Education programs, but I mainly participated in regular classwork. I’m sharing that experience with others, to give another point of view of the world, but to also show that those with special needs are just like any other person, but have to go through different struggles than the average person.

The name “Homura” comes from my favorite anime, Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Since I do not know the identity of the woman who donated her heart to me, I gave her this identity.
